Update your old aged care qualification from just $500
In keeping with government reforms and changes in the aged care industry, the current Certificate III and Certificate IV in Aged Care and HACC qualifications have been superseded and replaced with nationally accredited aged care qualifications CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support and CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
Please note that this offer has now expired. Please enquire about other offers that we may have.
ATA Training are offering students the opportunity to update their old aged care qualifications (Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or HACC) for just $500. Under the ATA Training Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) program, students may not need to study all of the units of competency to achieve the new qualifications.
After much consultation with the aged care industry, ATA Training was one of the first Registered Training Organisations in WA to be approved by the government to offer the new courses.
The new Nationally Recognised qualifications Certificate III & IV are now based around the provision of care to a client through an individualised plan that the client is actively involved in creating. Emphasising notions like consumer choice, person-centred care, enablement and customer experience, the new qualifications offer a different approach to providing aged care, one that aligns with the changing direction of the aged care industry to focus on consumer needs.
RPL is the process by which your experience, skills and knowledge are recognised and taken into account when you are looking to undertake new study or a new qualification. This may mean you do not have to study certain core or elective units that you are able to demonstrate the required skills or knowledge and you can complete your qualification faster and more affordably. When you begin the enrolment, we will discuss the RPL process in your ATA Training ‘Study and Career Consultation’.
